Break into identity security, with two mentors in your corner.
Privance takes career-changers from no tech background to job-ready in identity and access management. Hands-on CyberArk, Okta, and Active Directory, real compliance work in SOX, HIPAA, and NIST, and one-on-one mentorship that does not stop until you land the role.
Two tracks. One path to hired.
You start with the fundamentals and only move up when you are ready. Chad takes you through entry-level identity and CyberArk. When the basics are solid, you advance to Lance for the deep work and the job search.
Foundations
Entry-level IAM and CyberArk. IT and Active Directory fundamentals, core identity concepts, and your first hands-on work in privileged access, taught live and at a pace that assumes no prior background.
Readiness check
No one advances before the fundamentals are genuinely solid. Chad signs off against a clear checklist, then moves you up to the advanced track. It keeps your experience consistent and your time well spent.
Advanced and GRC
Advanced CyberArk, Okta, and Active Directory, plus the full governance and compliance stack: SOX, HIPAA, and NIST. This is also where career services and your real-world capstone live.
The skills employers actually hire for.
Identity security is a specialty, not a generalist track. You go deep on the tools and frameworks that show up in real job descriptions.
Privileged access (CyberArk)
Vaulting, safes, the PSM and CPM, session management, and account onboarding: the core of how enterprises protect their most powerful credentials.
Identity and SSO (Okta)
Single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, user lifecycle, and provisioning. How modern identity is centralized and secured across an organization.
Active Directory
Domains, groups, delegation, and the structure of enterprise identity. The backbone that everything else in IAM connects to.
Governance and SOX
Access reviews, segregation of duties, and audit evidence. The compliance work that keeps regulated companies running, taught from real practice.
HIPAA and healthcare data
Safeguarding protected health information through access control, the rules behind it, and what compliance looks like day to day.
NIST frameworks
The Cybersecurity Framework and Risk Management Framework: how organizations identify, assess, and manage risk against a recognized standard.

Two people, not a faceless course.
You are taught by the same two people the whole way through, with a clear handoff between them.
Chad
Chad runs Level 1: entry IAM and CyberArk. He takes people with no tech background and builds the fundamentals patiently, then signs off when you are genuinely ready to advance. His job is to make sure you never reach the deep work before you can handle it.
Lance
Lance is a practicing identity and privileged-access engineer with enterprise and SOX-audit experience. He leads Level 2: advanced CyberArk, Okta, and Active Directory, the full GRC stack, your capstone, and the career work that gets you in front of employers.
We do not stop at skills.
Skills get you capable. These get you hired.
A resume that gets read
Rebuilt around what hiring teams and screening tools actually look for in identity roles.
A LinkedIn that gets found
Optimized so recruiters searching for IAM and GRC talent land on you.
Interview prep that sticks
Recorded mock interviews you review with your mentor, until your answers are sharp.
Experience you can prove
Platinum includes a real capstone under Privance, a defensible line on your resume, not a fabricated one.
A clear cert roadmap
What to earn, in what order, and when your future employer should fund it.
Mentors through the search
Support does not end at graduation. Platinum stays with you until you are hired.
